An Inventory editor is a third-party program that allows you to add or remove items from your local character inventory, and in many cases, edit other character data. Same goes for the website inventory editor, obviously.The Terraria Inventory Editor makes it easy to start a new character from scratch if you like to just build things without needing to gather the materials, or if you are just impatient and want all the cool stuff now. It's a great place to get basically everything but equipment though (I use it for base builds for fun, since it has basically every mat) - just be aware it will also spoil a LOT of the game unless you can resist abusing it. You can always back up your character before any of this if you don't trust it.īuilder's Workshop map (google it) is also a good option, but none of the weapons or accessories in there have prefixes.

Once you're done, click 'Save Player' and save it/overwrite your character, and play the game. You can also pick the prefix from the selections under the word Prefix.Īlso note your equipment you actually have equipped are in the 'Equips' tab at the top. Menacing or whatever (be aware you can add any prefix to any item even if the item doesn't drop with that prefix, including armor, so even though this won't hurt your game, I would still look up which prefixes your items can have on the wiki or whatever so it isn't obviously cheated - or just use the one you previously had).so on and so forth. Once you have your items, on the right click 'Edit' and from there you can click on any item in your inventory and change the stack quantity, add prefix to your item i.e. The squares on top are your inventory and the squares on bottom are the program, so when you find your item you just drag it into your inventory (or click to grab, click to drop). When you load it click 'Inventory' and then on the right click 'Library', then you can search for your item there (you can also click between the quotes next to 'Search' and type the name of your item).

You just need to have a character created, then close the game and open that website, then click 'Load Player' and navigate to your save (documents/my games/terraria/players -> 'YourCharacterName'.plr).
